The Stop village keeps the best traditional architecture and the biggest chestnut forests Samos.
There are several traditional paths departing Stop, well to communicate with other locations or to access different areas of your souto or places extensive grazing and labradío.
One is called the Path of the Mass Santalla, widely used as a means of communication with Santalla de Abaixo and the transiting neighbors stop to attend religious services to be officiated in the parish church of San Xosé in Santalla.
Currently only a stretch of just two kilometers is preserved, between Parada and the settlement castreño A Roda do Castro, from great scenic attraction, ethnographic and archaeological and that we will make this interesting tour. But before starting the walk, it is advisable to make an extended visit to the village of Parada, submerged in chestnut trees large.
